What to do in Regna

First of all - enjoy the peace and quietness here! Listen to the bees humming... You are welcome to just relax in the garden or have a look in the curiosity shop. Or why not rent one of our canoes or bikes and go for a tour.

Regna is an old village, surrounded by forests and lakes. Ideal for walking, biking or canoeing.

The lake Regnaren is situated only 350 meters from the hostel. The villagers go there to swim and fish. And skate during the winter. Grill your catch at the open air grill there.

Visit Regna's church opposite the hostel. The oldest parts are the 18th century but church was rebuilt in 1915 after a devastating fire in 1913. Luckily the 18th century altar piece by the Swedish painter Pehr Hörberg was saved. The old homestead museum on the hill above the hostel shows typical houses from the 18th and 19th centuries.

There are local buses daily to Finspång. The nearest railway station is 23 km north of Regna, in Vingåker.

If you feel like shopping there is a big factory outlet in Vingåker. Säfstaholm's castle in Vingåker show interesting art exhibitions during the summer.

In Rejmyre, 20 minutes away, there is a glass factory that you can visit, as well as a bakery, shops and exhibitions.
